Addi has been having such a fun time playing softball. She keeps telling me she is going to do it every year, in high school, and then in college when she gets bigger. I hope she keeps that love for it. It was fun watching her get a great hit this game and then make it to 3rd base. She was even able to score a run for her team from the next hitter. Way to go ADDI!

Kenzie's 8th Grade Lagoon Trip
Each year the 8th graders get to go to Lagoon. I got to go also and be a chaperone. I wasn't in Kenzie's group because a group of boys filled my sheet before she got there, but we still got to see each other there. She has a cute group of friends. She has gotten really close to Sarah lately and I just love seeing them having fun and being silly together. I enjoyed myself also since the other chaperones are my friends and work at the school as well. We all started out at the pavilion we were to meet at and then everyone was able to go their separate ways and then meet back for lunch. After lunch they could go play for a few more hours until it was time to leave and we met at the front.

8th Grade Graduation Ceremony
It was so cool to see Kenzie graduated from 8th grade. Each student went up and got an award and the teachers read of the quote the student had chosen. Kenzie said "I always thought that middle school kids were scary, now I am one." Haha. She also put down that she learned "If I finish things the day they are assigned, I rarely ever have to stress about things." Now to see if she applies that knowledge in high school. She is beyond thrilled to be going to Mountain Crest next year. She has quite a few friends going there next year also so that will be fun. She says she is excited to be able to chose her classes and find things that interest her. So of course that means she will be involved with animals. At this time her plan is to take the veterinarian technician course through Bridgerland her last two years of high school to get her certificate, which means she is taking extra science classes now to qualify to do that. USU has also just opened a Veternarian degree so we will see how far she decides to go with that, but at least there are options.
During the ceremony they also had all the kids come up who have been at Thomas Edison their entire elementary and middle school years and she was able to go up and join them. I think there were about 23 students up there for that. Afterwards we joined Sarah's family for some ice cream at Cold Stone Creamery.

We have baby goats!
Polyanna had four babies today! Kenzie was even able to watch the last three of them being born. We had left for errands and came back to find a new baby in the pen. We kept watching her and they just kept coming. The first was a boy and Kenzie named him Milo. Next came Molly. Chloe was third but she was stuck in her sac and Kenzie had to hurry and wipe her off with a towel so she could breathe. The fourth baby was Winnie. They are all so CUTE! Winston was just so interested in them and wouldn't leave Polyanna alone so we had to barricade the door so he couldn't get in. I think Kenzie and Heath spent the entire day out there watching the goats.
