Herriman Band Competition

 Drumline was able to get the "Percussion Caption" for their Herriman Competition. This means their percussion won overall. MCHS got second overall in the competition. They are amazing!

Softball Championship

 It has been so exciting this season to watch Addi and her team grow. They had so much fun together. I even learned a new skill: score keeping. This last championship game was quite intense and very hot. They were down by 3 in the second inning with time to move into the third inning. The Wellsville Patriots pulled together and were able to get three outs without any runs. This tied the game, moving them into the fourth inning. The Providence Comets scored one run before getting three outs. Our Wellsville girls were able to score two runs to end the game. 15 to 14. It was such an intense game. Addi was even able to get an in-field homerun. The girls kept throwing it to each other to try and get her out, but they kept missing so she kept running. Each of the girls got a gold medal. After the game we went and grabbed Costa Vida. She asked to go in instead of getting it through the drive through so they could see her medal. It was so cute, the cashier asked her about her medal and congratulated her on her win.
